Our Attorneys

Donald graduated from Queens College with a degree in History and Political Science. Subsequently, he attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and graduated with his law degree in 1974. Donald has over four decades of experience, with much of that time spent serving as General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Executive for Fortune 500 companies in the food, service, PEO, and manufacturing sectors.

Donald is passionate about using all he learned in the corporate sector to expertly defend individuals against major companies. Don is an experienced mediator and labor negotiator, having negotiated hundreds of national and international labor agreements.

Vanessa graduated from Fordham University with a degree in History and Political Science. Subsequently, she attended Brooklyn Law School and graduated with her law degree in 2012. Vanessa has held various Extern and Fellow positions across New York City and State, including stints with The Solicitor's Office at the US Department of Labor, the NYPD Legal Bureau, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Hearings Department. Vanessa is a methodical researcher and writer, and has represented clients before the New York Supreme Court.

Vanessa has an expert understanding of Human Rights Law, Civil Procedure, and Employment Discrimination Law. Furthermore, she is licensed to practice in New Jersey in addition to New York.

Joe graduated from Cathedral College of Immaculate Conception with a Philosophy degree. Then, he attended Georgetown for his Masters Degree and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1987. Joe works out of New York City, and he has spent over 30 years building a comprehensive general practice handling real estate, bankruptcy, matrimonial, trademark, and immigration law. Joe is licensed to practice across New York State. He is also admitted to the United States District Court Eastern District and Southern District of New York, as well as a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.

Joe is bilingual and skilled in negotiation, legal writing, trials, domain registration, branding and mergers & acquisitions.

Mike Wolf graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Law last year. In law school, Mike focused on criminal and family law, joining the Criminal Justice Advocacy Clinic and staying on post-graduation as a research fellow.

Longterm, he plans to practice these specialities alongside his parents, Cheryl Berzer and Paul Wolf, as well as employment and civil rights law. For the time being, you will find him assisting our affiliate attorneys across the state.
